The project presented various challenges, all of which were successfully resolved:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wide temperature variations between winter and summer months were addressed through the greenhouse&#8217;s large volume of air due to its height, the use of multiwall polycarbonate, natural ventilation systems, and the installation of a mixed thermal shading screen. This solution reduces the temperature inside during the central hours of summer days while retaining heat during winter, resulting in significant energy savings.<\/li>\n<li>High temperatures during the summer were reduced by installing a fans and pads cooling system that reduces the temperature by water evaporation, forcing hot air to pass through wet cellulose panels.<\/li>\n<li>Limited use of chemical products for pest control was achieved by installing anti-insect nets in the ventilation systems, preventing the formation of pests that could damage the crops.
