For this reason, during July we hosted a visit to our Gonvarri Asturias facilities for students from the University of Oviedo, an institution with which we maintain a close relationship through our own academic chair, the Gonvarri Chair, focused on innovation and the development of young talent. In addition, we regularly organize visits like this one to give students a first-hand look at how steel is transformed, through our production processes, into solutions that help make agriculture more efficient and sustainable.

On this occasion, the students had the opportunity to visit our plant, where, starting from a steel coil, we carry out a pickling, cutting, roll-forming, and galvanizing process that ultimately becomes the greenhouse structure used by our customers.

Afterward, to conclude the visit, we went to the DEMO greenhouse, a gothic greenhouse built to test, in a real-world environment, all the systems and solutions included in our greenhouses. This allowed the students to discover the complete process and understand how innovation, technology, and knowledge are put at the service of the agricultural sector.
