Nación Berries is the most important event in Latin America when it comes to berry cultivation, including blueberries, currants, and blackberries. The event held in Colombia brought together numerous companies from the sector, specialized attendees, and expert conferences, where we were able to learn about the latest developments in this type of crop across Latin America.

Our objective on this occasion was to connect with growers, partners, and industry experts for whom AgroTech’s capabilities as a turnkey greenhouse provider could offer significant added value. At the same time, we also approached this trade fair as a learning process in which to deepen our understanding of the importance of greenhouses for berry cultivation, not only in LATAM but around the world. For this reason, our presence included our own stand, with representatives from our facilities in Spain and Colombia.

At AgroTech, we are fully aware of the benefits of greenhouse berry cultivation, as we have already carried out projects designed for berry production and even have a specific macrotunnel model developed to optimize their growth and fruiting. This model takes into account the specific requirements of these plants and offers excellent structural integrity thanks to its steel construction, enabling it to withstand the severe weather conditions that are common in many LATAM countries.

These types of events are an essential opportunity for us to continue advancing as a benchmark company in the manufacturing of steel greenhouses and are yet another example of Colombia’s major role as a strategic hub in the agribusiness sector and, more specifically, in the berry industry.
